I cry because I'm bitter
I cry because I hate.
I cry because I take for granted
And so am thrown away.

I cry because I loved
Because I can't admit
Because I hide the dismal truth
Behind a mask of hate.

I cry because you said you loved
And so I let me down
I cry because you didn't really
While I still wish you came around.

I cry because we threw away
All I still remember.
I cry because I want to salvage
All I'll never save.
I cry because I only
Allow me to be lonely.
